It is a sad situation. Where I came from it was the fishing industry that collapsed...and took a whole culture with it. To make matters worse the NAFTA beast is about to become even bigger with this Canada-U.S.-Mexico economic integration zone they hope to have in place by 2010. Hmmm...we'll see about that. BTW I like the new look of your blog...very elegant and cool... although... of course....it's not dark enough for me... :) I also like your new statement of purpose...."resuscitating a quiet party."
