E-Day minus 2

Working in the high-energy bubble of the Michael Shapcott campaign the optimism and excitement is infectious.

Michael ran in the Pride & Remembrance Run today, beating both Bill Graham – surely a good omen – and cantankerous Ontario Health Minister George Smitherman. (I must remember to tell him my own P & R Run story). This evening we are preparing ourselves for tomorrow’s Pride Parade.

Bill Graham is en route to Turkey but his workers managed to drop off a second copy of their glossy brochure at my door this morning, wrapped in a letter wherein the absent Member boasts of his advocacy for co-op housing. Pfft! He can’t hold a candle to Michael Shapcott on the issue of safe, affordable housing for Canadians.
