Fox parent company News Corp. has yanked its absurd, November sweeps-baiting plans starring O.J. Simpson.
Rupert Murdoch’s Corp, so widely criticized that even star (sic) employee Bill O’Reilly came out against the plans, was all set for O.J. to release both a book and T.V. special called “If I Did It…” in which the guy, found only criminally responsible for the deaths of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and friend Ronald Goldman, hypothesized as to how he would have murdered them. So much for dedicating his life to finding the real killers.
(Such is the difference between being found criminally responsible for their deaths and not guilty of their murders. In the latter, with a guilty verdict, he would have been put away for life. With the former he can torment his victims’ families, living freely, for life with no remorse or any modicum of court-ordered rehabilitation.)
